Have we manipulated our own myths?

Just like this, we’ve twisted language,
To mean something else entirely.
How many words do we have to reclaim,
Before we can remove all prejudice?

The Swedish made up their own vocabulary,
Yes, it’s true- “Snippa” to label a woman’s genitals,
To compare it to her male counterparts,
To have to invent what was lacking so as to “refer”.

By referring, renaming and reclaiming,
Posterity shall think and feel and see,
